One of the biggest moments of the PGA Show week came when the Golf Channel stopped by our booth for an interview with the Power Tee team. The conversation focused on how Power Tee is helping facilities deliver a more premium, efficient, and modern environment for golfers. Plus we discussed the benefits to driving range owners, and other golf facilities.
Golf Channel reporter Bailey Chamblee spoke with Power Tee founder Martin Wyeth for an on-site interview to explore how Power Tee is shaping the future of golf practice. The conversation highlighted Power Tee’s role as the world’s leading automated teeing technology, focusing on how it enhances the player experience, and increases practice efficiency —making the interview a concise snapshot of why Power Tee continues to stand out at the forefront of the industry.
It was an exciting opportunity to share the Power Tee story and showcase why automated teeing continues to play a growing role in the future of golf practice.
Power Tee on Golf Channel
The Golf Channel is available in around 59 million U.S. pay television households as of recent distribution figures. Globally, Golf Channel’s programming reaches nearly 500 million viewers across roughly 70–80 countries and in nine languages through various cable, satellite, and digital platforms.
Golf Channel is now owned by Versant Media Group, a newly public company that spun off most of NBCUniversal’s cable channels. This includes Golf Channel along with others like USA Network and CNBC. The move separates these networks from Comcast/NBCUniversal while still keeping many of the same channels and sports content within the broader family of media assets under Versant.
